Description
The course enables VET and adult education trainers to design their own intercultural training course in the context of social and health care institutions.
11 modules will be combined to a flexible and modular training course offered in a blended learning approach. Fully-fledged training material will be presented and practically tried out. This includes lectures/presentations as well as videos, scenarios and case studies, role plays and other learning activities like self-reflection exercises and a learning app. Many practical tips, tools and examples are included.
The course includes the following modules:

2. Intercultural Communication
3. Eating, Drinking, Celebrating, Fasting
4. Aging, Dying, Death
5. Body, Gender, Sex, Intimacy
6. Pregnancy, Parenthood, Children, Family Structures
7. Disability, Psychology & Mental Problems
8. Dealing with Pain
9. Working in Culturally Diverse Teams
10. Creating own Learning Materials
11. Validation of Intercultural Training
Each module goes along with some background information, learning activities and good practice examples. Material will be provided to be used in your own trainings.
At the end of the course you will design your own training offer adapted to the needs of your target group.
